Summary
I’m a math student at Princeton University with a strong background in software development, teaching, and independent research. I’ve had the opportunity to do a bunch of odd things — from starting a nonprofit and ed-tech platform to coaching a veritable horde of video gamers.
I have quite a few interests beyond these experiences though: I love exploring truth and logic in mathematics; I enjoy experiencing the intricacies of cultural expression through comparative literature; and the brain — understanding just how it is that our meat computers think — has been of huge interest to me since I was a kid.
Interdisciplinary projects where these fields intersect are of particular interest to me. Now, I’m actively seeking to dive into research, eager to contribute in any capacity to the advancement of these fields.

Work Experience
Founder and Software Developer, RiverProject.io
(May 2022 - Present)
- Founded and led a nonprofit organization providing free peer tutoring.
- Developed the software infrastructure for the organization. Implemented multiple prototypes across multiple different stacks, eventually deciding upon a TypeScript frontend with a gRPC/Golang backend.
- Managed rapid expansion, reaching over 800 users within the first three months. Gained valuable experience in organizational growth and change management.
Video Game Coach, League of Legends
(April 2018 - May 2022)
- Provided personalized coaching to hundreds of individual students, helping them improve their gaming skills and strategies.
- Developed and implemented tailored coaching plans based on each student’s strengths and areas for improvement.
- Fostered a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to challenge themselves and reach their full potential.
Skills
Software Development
Experience in developing software for an educational platform. I personally designed and built our frontend (Vue.js/TypeScript) and multiple prototype APIs (TypeScript, Python, and Golang) before eventually settling on an implementation using Golang and gRPC.
- TypeScript/JavaScript (Vue.js, Express.js, Node.Js), Python, Golang
- REST APIs and ProtoBuf/gRPC
- Docker and Kubernetes
- SQL (esp. MySQL, SQLite, and PostgreSQL)
- HTML/CSS
- Unix/Git
Leadership
Founded and led a nonprofit organization, managing its growth and operations.
- Managed the overall organization (30+ members)
- Led the software development team (8 members)
Coaching and Mentoring
Experience in providing personalized coaching and mentoring services.
- Taught 300+ students
- 5.0 average rating
- Accumulated 2500+ hours of teaching experience
Research Experience
Independent Researcher, Matroid Theory
(September 2022 - May 2023)
- Conducted independent research focusing on one element extensions of a matroid. The goal of the research was to study how matroids change with one element extensions, particularly through observing their bases. This experience provided me with a deeper understanding of rigorous mathematical research and problem-solving.
